Along with that, the need for motorcycle luggage and motorcycle saddlebags arises. So now the question, how can I carry my stuff? Do I need saddlebags? Do I need a sissy bar bag? What can I carry? All valid questions that need to be addressed.

Simply put, you should buy motorcycle luggage that attaches to your bike. Many styles of motorcycle luggage and motorcycle saddlebags are available, depending on your needs, your style and your budget.

Motorcycle saddlebags, which still offer that “retro” look, are the easiest to use and easily attach over the rear fender. Motorcycle saddlebags also offer a simple boxy area to carry medium sized cargo, like your laptop, a spare jacket and even a few groceries, with minimal fuss. Still, it is important to use a bit of common sense before you hit the road. Do your best to balance your cargo from one side of the bike to the other. Also, be sure you have your bags
positioned to allow clearance from the wheel and exhaust. There’s nothing worse than burning a hole in your bag or sucking leather into your spokes!

If you elect to go with sissy bar bags, be sure you have a sissy bar to mount to. This type of bag may require slightly more effort to load. Also, a sissy bar bag allows you the option to strap a barrel bag on top. A barrel bag is nothing more than a tote bag designed for motorcycle use. The barrel bag just gives one additional option to carry more gear, like clothes, sleeping bag or other items suitable for carry in a tote bag. The barrel bag is usually strapped piggyback on top of the sissy bar bag.

Whether it be motorcycle saddlebags or sissy bar bag, they are both good options. These will at least insure you won’t look back and see your laptop bouncing down the road!

http://www.madjackbags.com/
